THE ENERGY MENTOR

Changes to how gas and electricity are distributed and marketed have drastically altered the way these industries operate. Gone are the days when a customer receives a bill and simply pays it as ‘it makes no difference’.

The CAB has trained Energy Mentors to guide you through the maze of tariffs, discounts and special offers retailers use in their energy plans.

During a consultation the Energy Mentor can contact your retailer on your behalf and speak to their consultants in a language they understand. The Energy Mentor can also seek out any government rebates currently on offer.

This service is free and impartial and not linked to any commercial entities. Contact the CAB for an appointment. For example, when you receive a new offer from your current energy retailer.
